I have a new blog! I won’t be posting on this one anymore, but it will still be here. Check out my new blog and let me know what you think!
G Family – Richmond Family Portraits March 25, 2010
I had the pleasure of shooting Parvinder’s nephew Jaimen back in January. He was a dream baby to photograph. When Parvinder contacted me again to do some family photos for her, I was very excited.
Her son Kyan is the cutest little guy. He is 7 months old, and is sitting up, but not crawling yet. The perfect time to get photos done.
We started off in their family home, and then headed to a park a couple of blocks away.
The park was amazing. It had ducks, a beautiful bridge, and a fantastic playground for kids. It was super warm, so by the end of it, we were able to get some shots without any jackets on.
S Family – Tsawwassen Family Portraits March 21, 2010
Jen contacted me a couple of weeks ago, hoping I was available for a last minute session. Her family was going to be in town, as her little boy Darcy is turning ONE!
I am hugely jealous of Jen and her family, as they live 3 minutes from the beach. It was BEAUTIFUL.
I had such a great time with them this morning, or should I say yesterday as I am blogging away at 1am. I couldn’t wait to send Jen her preview. This was an awesome family to photograph, I had a fantastic time!
My buddy Mackenzie March 17, 2010
I found Mackenzie at a petting zoo for a Canada Day celebration. I was 16 at the time. They had a hamster cage with three kittens in it. My husband (then boyfriend) picked him out for me.
Mackenzie is an awesome cat. He is SUPER friendly, and will keep your neck warm in the winter. He loves snuggles, and he is great with the kids and our dogs. He was the first addition to our family almost 8 years ago.
Life has certainly changed over these past 8 years. We have moved four times, had two children, and adopted two dogs. That is a lot of change for a little 10lb cat.
He is my faithful buddy still. We don’t get the snuggle time we used to, so he get’s very excited when I am at my computer. Every single night I have my little buddy sitting in front of the computer screen ‘helping’ me. He really likes it when I move the mouse.
He stays up with me every night, and will sit like this for hours. I can count on him for company while I am working away at the computer!
Alyssa – Burnaby Newborn Photography March 15, 2010
I have photographed many newborns this winter. They are all soooo cute, and all soooo different. The small things that I love about newborns are things that they ALL do. They all breath the same, they all have scrunchy legs, and they all have the cutest little toes. I love baby toes.
Last summer I had a wonderful time photographing Kaylee. She was shy at first, but once warmed up, she was bouncing around. I knew that her little sister was going to be just as cute, and she definitely was. She slept for the majority of the shoot, and was a happy, happy baby!
Sophie – Vancouver Newborn Photography March 13, 2010
Leanne contacted me a few weeks before Sophie’s due date. She sounded so excited to do these newborn photos. I love excitement!
Sophie arrived 2 weeks early, and is SO beautiful. She has her beautiful mama’s curly hair. Once we finally got her to sleep, she was quite content being warm and snuggly.
Maya – Port Moody Newborn Photography March 8, 2010
Little Maya was not too fond of having her picture taken. She much prefered to be snuggled up nice and cozy in a blanket and in her mama’s arms. She did amazing though, and we got some wonderful shots with her.
She has a proud big sister India, who is so full of life. These two will be chasing each other in no time!
