Nora – Vancouver Newborn Photography September 8, 2009

I just love the name Nora. It is so feminine and classic. Little Nora was so very sweet. Apparently Nora missed the memo and was wide awake when I arrived. This seems to be a pattern with all of my newborn shoots lately. They are all wake, WIDE awake.

Even though the little Miss was wide awake for the first little bit, she was happy. A very content baby she is. When Nora did fuss a little, her big sister Eliza was there to keep my camera busy while Nora got nice and comfy again. This girl was funny. A true poser. Great in front of the camera, and is so very cute to photograph.

It was so nice to be able to capture two sisters. Little girls are just the sweetest things!

Nolan – Vancouver Family Photography September 3, 2009

This little boy has the most BEAUTIFUL hair. His curl is amazing. Such a lucky boy he is.

Nolan has his favorites as far as locations go. We didn’t venture too far from home, and we went to one of his favorite parks. After that we headed back to his home and got some of my favorite shots there. You could tell he was the most comfortable in his own yard with his own surroundings. I had a great time with Sharon, Ryan and Nolan. They were so much fun to spend my morning with.

I did a photo shoot for my brother and sister-in-law this evening. Between the two of us we have 5 girls. Yes, that is FIVE girls. These two are so cute together. Brooke and my niece Sammi are 3 months apart in age, and they have the most fun together. I love listening to their giggles!

Ava – Vancouver Baby Photography August 27, 2009

Little Ava was so sweet. She has the BEST hair accessories, and the cutest little anklet. Ava was 8 weeks old when we did this shoot. It is such a great age. You can get some sleepy new baby shots, as well as gummy grins. She was very cooperative and we ended up getting a great variety. Lisa and Kevin are completely in love with their little girl. They make such a beautiful family!

Euan – Vancouver Newborn Photography August 22, 2009

This little guy was so tiny and so very very cute. I just love doing newborn photos. They don’t stay small for long, so it is nice to be able to capture them when they are so fresh and new.

Euan likes to be swaddled. He likes it so much, that everytime we tried to take the blanket off he woke up. It’s a good thing I have a lot of knitted blankets and cacoons, so Euan got to stay nice and cozy, just how he likes it.

Kaylee – Vancouver Portrait Photography August 14, 2009

I first met Kaylee when I photographed her little cousin Tristan in June. She was very shy, but you could see her little personality just waiting to come out.

When I met Kaylee for the second time, she was the same shy little girl. This time, I had more time to spend with her. By the end of the photo shoot her true personality came out, and she was jumping around and having a good time.

She wasn’t too fond of the camera, but she did great. A little bit of pizza, and some bubble tea made her that much happier.

Amber, Chris, Nathan, Madison & Ben – Vancouver Family Photography August 9, 2009

I just love photographing families. I love to watch them interact, and I love it when they warm up to the camera. Trying to get a family picture of all of them together proved to be a challenge. Ben is only 14 months, and at that age, they go go go. Who wants to sit still when you have recently discovered walking?

Madison and Nathan were so much fun to be around. It is so neat so see how grown up they seem compared to a toddler. They change so fast.

It was a blast spending the morning with these guys. It was gorgeous out, and they laughed and talked the whole time. Sounds like a great way to spend a morning to me!
